Kair In-Home Social Services (KIHSS) will work with you and your family every step of the way. We offer a dynamic and engaging intake process, home consultations and inspections, and a free written home study. Once you are a certified resource parent, we offer on-going support and training. We offer monthly group trainings that are fun and exciting, personalized and individualized training in your home as needed, access to community resources and supports, and much more. Being a resource parent with KIHSS means you are never alone in your fostering journey, and you have 24/7 access to help and support.

What are the qualifications to be a Resource Parent?

 

A safe, nurturing home environment.

You must be at least 18 years of age.

The ability to love and respect children from different cultures, backgrounds, and age groups.

Clear criminal background check for everyone over the age of 18 in the home.

You can be single or married.

You must have a rented or owned home/apartment with adequate bedroom space.

CPR/First Aid certified.

Positive communication skills.

Ability to keep records and relay information.


SERVICES

Kair in-Home Social Services has provided quality foster care to thousands of youth since 1994 and currently has an Intensive Services Foster Care program as well.  Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC) program provides specialized mental health and behavioral support services to children who have a history of complex traumas, psychiatric hospitalizations, and failed placements in the foster care system.

We also offer personalized approval training, specialized ongoing training, 24 hour support, along with many more resources.
